Have you ever just felt unsettled in your job and looking for something more meaningful and inspiring?
All my life I have worked for multinationals in healthcare. Companies like Johnson & Johnson, Smith & Nephew, Coloplast and Stryker. I always felt it rewarding as the products help people live a better life. Whether that be products to heal wounds, hip/knee replacement or equipping a surgeon with technology to conduct life saving surgery.
During the pandemic, it was a good time to reflect as something didn’t feel 100%. I don’t know why but something just didn’t feel right. Maybe midlife crisis lol
I have always wanted my own business from a very young age. So I guess the pandemic gave me the time to think about what I wanted to do. I didn’t want to look back later in life and regret not giving it a go even though it meant leaving a nice secure job.
Whilst working at these companies, I felt there is an opportunity to create a healthcare company which makes a positive impact through our products but also from the money made. This is one of the cool things about bpositive. Through our buy1help1 initiative we will be making a positive impact together. So I am extremely excited to announce the launch bpositive.
We have included some images of some of the logo iterations and our final version. I would say there was at least 10 more versions and a lot of internal discussions amongst the team. The thing we love most about the logo is the little hidden smiley face. It really fits the positivity of who we are. A smile is contagious after all. Can you see it? Tell us what you think!
