Building Resilience to prevent Mental Health Issues

Kids Help Line - Australia ➕

No doubt we have all gone through some tough times. Some cope better than others and have a support network they trust. But you never know who need support. That’s why Kids Helpline is so critical. They are the only free, confidential 24/7 online and phone counselling service for young people aged 5 to 25. Their qualified counsellors are available via WebChat, phone or email, anytime and for any reason. Since 1991, they have responded to over 8 million contacts. For many young people, connecting with Kids Helpline has been a life-saving experience, while for others it’s about practical help and emotional support at the critical moment they needed someone to listen. https://kidshelpline.com.au/

MIASA - Malaysia ➕

We’re thrilled to support the Mental Illness Awareness & Support Association (MIASA) for their amazing work in mental health advocacy and peer support. MIASA’s all-encompassing approach helps individuals and their caregivers, building strength and independence. Their programs shine a light on mental health issues and clear up misconceptions, making sure everyone gets the support they deserve. https://www.miasa.org.my/index.html

Care Corner - Singapore ➕

With 43 service points across Singapore, Care Corner serves children, youth-at-risk, troubled families, vulnerable seniors and individuals with counselling and mental health needs. Our particular focus is on the Youth Programs which deliver customised preventive programmes to equip students with the resources to be resilient and able to cope with the stressors in life. https://www.carecorner.org.sg/service_category/youth/

Education for the Underprivileged

The Smith Family - Australia ➕

Disadvantage kids in Australia? This cannot be for such a developed economy, right? We strongly agree with The Smith Family’s belief that education is one of the world’s most powerful change agents. That’s why they focus on helping young Australians to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty. Their programs focus on developing skills, motivation and essentials to stay in school and get the most from their education so they can create a better future for themselves. https://www.thesmithfamily.com.au/

Teach For Malaysia - Malaysia ➕

We’re excited to support Teach For Malaysia (TFM) in their mission to provide quality education, and to tackle education inequality for all children in Malaysia. Their programs help students understand their learning journey and identify the steps they need to succeed. By building a movement of leaders in the education ecosystem, TFM is making a lasting impact. We’re proud to stand with them in creating a brighter future for every child.

Wishing Well – Singapore ➕

We love Wishing Well’s approach to breaking the poverty cycle. Their programs focus on empowering disadvantaged children and equipping them with the life skills many of us who grow up in functional and stable families take for granted. It is estimated that 8,000 Singaporean children are falling below the poverty line. Many fall behind as they do not get the same level of educational support that higher-income families provide their children through private tuition. Wishing Well aims to bridge this gap and give every child the best chance to make a positive contribution to society in adulthood. https://www.wishingwell.org.sg/

Environmental Sustainability

All it takes is $1 to help restore forests, creates habitat for biodiversity, and make a positive social impact around the world. https://onetreeplanted.org/
